The purpose of the High Cascade Financial Need Scholarship program is to assist a small selection of snowboard lovers in financial need with the opportunity of a lifetime. Scholarships are offered to a select number of financially need based applicants. There are hundreds of snowboarders applying for a scholarship to HCSC. What makes you stand out from the rest of the applicants? Be sure to tell us in a letter explaining why you feel you deserve one of these coveted scholarships.
Financial Need Scholarships are available for Sessions 5 or 6 only. Scholarships are non-transferable and have no cash value. Registering for a session is not necessary to qualify for a scholarship and will not increase or decrease the chances of receiving a scholarship.
Drake Aron Edwards Memorial Scholarship: The Drake Edwards Memorial Scholarship was created to remember and encourage the spirit of counselor Drake Edwards who so embodied High Cascade’s mission of Life Improvement through Snowboarding. This scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who best demonstrates their efforts to improving lives of others and is available to first time campers, only. Applications must be submitted by January 1st. Award winners will by notified by email by January 10th.
