Why?: Snowboarding & Skiing have been a huge part of my life since I was 7 years old, starting out skiing I was a bit hesitant at first, with windy roads/cold temperatures I was not a fan. After throwing the ski's in the garage, and taking a few years off, It wasn't until I tried snowboarding that I got back on the hill. I was fully self taught, except for watching youtube videos and snowboard films/competitions, and became a weekend warrior until my teaching career. Getting inspired watching riders like Torstein Horgmo, Mark McMorris, and Stale Sandbech, I had to get back out there. I got my first job instructing initially for the pass, but ultimately ended up staying for the impact I was making, and being able to see myself make an actual difference. Deciding this was the career path I was wanting to take, I started getting all the certifications I could, and striving to be the person that can help make a change
