We are snowboarders who run a snowboard camp

In the summer of 1989 our founder, John Ingersoll, picked up a young snowboarder hitch hiking to Mt. Hood.  Turns out, this teenager had been left behind by the now defunct camp he attended.  A lightbulb went off in John's head:

We can do it better

That is our founding philosophy: we can do it better . . . better than we did last summer, better than we did today, and better than the rest.  We are always improving, always striving to make it a better experience for our all our campers: boys and girls, kids and adults, boardercrossers, slopestylers, and half pipers, and those new to snowboarding all the way up to those working hard for that next video part or podium at the Olympics.

We pour our hearts into High Cascade Snowboard Camp each summer because we love snowboarding.  And it's not just the act of riding we love but also the experiences we have, the people we meet, and most importantly the lives it changes.  For that reason our mission is:

So we invite you to come ride with us to learn something new, have some life-changing fun, and meet some new folks from around the globe who share your passion to snowboard.  We hope to see you this summer!

Yours very truly,

Kevin English
