High Cascade’s ALL-NEW Competition Snowboard Team builds on our 25 years of snowboard coaching. Under the direction of Olympic medal winning coach Elijah Teter, HCSC’s competition program features professional coaching accredited by US Ski & Snowboard to enhance freestyle riding skills and prepare riders for competitions in slopestyle, halfpipe, boardercross, and all-mountain free-riding. Some of the concepts built into the programming will be contest run design, strategies, and sportsmanship. Participants compete in USASA Mt. Hood Series events, the program targets motivated riders aiming for local, regional, and national competitions, covering coaching fees for USASA regional events but requiring additional fees for other competitions and travel expenses. Rider progression is supported through shared goals, individual assessments, and access to top-level coaching, while ensuring riders are fully equipped for their competitive journey.
