TPTS 101 - Introduction to Performance in Terrain Parks

*Offered at any location globally

Prerequisites: Level 1 accreditation from an ISIA Member National Association, USASA or USSA in addition to a current CPR/First Aid certification

Course Description: The three day long general course exists to increase the level of performance coaching in the terrain park features of jumps, jibs & the transitional features of halfpipe & cross courses. This introductory course is aimed at coaches & instructors who are looking to acquire the practical teaching tools to safely assist aspiring skiers & snowboarders to progress more efficiently in the freestyle environment. The goal of this course is for the participants to increase confidence in their coaching techniques to implement a plan that is specific, measurable, achievable, realistic & timely. Participants will also gain access to the encyclopedic knowledge & first-hand Olympic experience that has already produced Olympic medals for four different nations.

By coming to the Wy’East Academy campus you will gain first hand experience with the most state of the art tools for progression; Demo Room, dryslope jib line, multiple air bags, super trampolines, custom transition dryslope, classrooms with thousands upon thousands of square meters of skate features inside & out any time of year.
